I’m Dr. Sanad Aburass (د. سند ابو راس), and I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Jordan, specializing in Machine Learning and Computer Vision.

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, USA.

Over the years, I have taught numerous courses at both the undergraduate and master’s levels, including Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Science, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Foundations of Java, and Web Programming.

I have published many research papers in highly ranked journals and conferences, primarily in the fields of machine learning and computer vision. My research focuses on introducing novel and innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Beyond my work in machine learning, I also enjoy exploring philosophy and have published research papers in this field as a hobby. This passion led me to write a book titled United Martians: A Trip to the Future. Originally published in Arabic, it was later translated into English. In this book, I discuss various philosophical and psychological topics aimed at fostering a united society where everyone can live in peace and harmony.

Additionally, I hold a registered patent in Germany for a targeted marketing framework on social media platforms, which analyzes images uploaded by users.

I also contribute articles to the official Jordanian newspaper Addustour, where I discuss a variety of topics, including philosophy, psychology, society, and technology.
